A big THANK YOU to ToRi!

You're going to think what does this have to do with Tori, but I swear it ties in in the end haha.
I went to preschool with a boy named Chase Jesperson. He came to my fourth and seventh birthday parties. I remember being so excited about him being there because he was sooo "hot." I've had a crush on him ever since then. Chase and I went to different schools for elementary and junior high, and we never hung out. Then last summer, Tori was telling me about a boy that she was talking to online. (Of course right, she knows EVERYONE! She had a new boy online every single day.) She said that he knew me, and I asked her what his name was. It was Chase! I was so excited and she gave me his email address.
A few weeks later, (after nationals in Florida) Chase and I hung out. We got very close, and I got to know him really well. Well, Chase is a year older than I am and he went to high school. You know what that means, other girls. So, Chase and I didn't really talk or hang out all of last year.
On Thursday July 7, 2005,(when we were in Nationals in New York this summer) Chase died in a sea-doo accident. He was only 16 years old, and the worst part was, I didn't get to date him in high school haha just kidding. I really was looking forward to that though. I thought he was going to be the one this year helping me out and getting to know everyone in high school. If you ask anyone about Chase, they will tell you that he is the nicest person they've ever met. He truly was the sweetest.
If Tori wouldn't have talked to Chase, or brought us back together, I wouldn't have gotten to know Chase as well as I did. I want to thank Tori so much for helping me get to know this wonderful boy who influenced my life for the better.
I know there is a reason that Chase died, and Tori didn't. I know Tori is here to teach us all a lesson. I know that Chase is with our Heavenly Father to help him do missionary work. I know Chase needed to go, and that Tori needs to stay here and help all of us want to be better. I know that Chase is watching over Tori and comforting her.
For those of you who are LDS, the only thing that is helping me through Chase's death, is that he is now an Elder and holds the Melchizedek Priesthood. Sure he was only 16, but his bishop leaned over to his parents at his funeral and told them that he was worthy. His parents went to the temple that week and did his work. Personally, I think that is pretty cool to be 16 and hold the Melchizedek Priesthood. That shows what a amazing and good kid he was. Thanks Tori, for helping me get to know him. You are the reason. I love you!

I knew Chase also..

Chase.. oh this kid was the best. I only hung out with him once.. but i did text him alot. When my friend called me and told me his friend died, i asked him who it was.. and he said chase. my heart dropped. i couldnt believe it. That changed me. I think its changed alot of people. They are more closer now. And when my friends and i found out about tori, thats when we became closer also. Tori is doing so well and i agree with kara. she will stay here, because thats what God needs her to do. I love you tori so much, please hold on! We miss you

i know how you feel kara

I was also a really good friend of chase's. We had a lot of the same friends and hung out with the same people. I remember in 7 grade we used to talk on the phone everyday for atleast a hour. Even though we went to different schools we still stayed in touch and hung out as often as we could. Chase was an amazing person and I know so many people will miss him. I know i will the funeral was the hardest part about his death but we all know he's in a better place. Kara if you ever need anything i know you dont know me but you can always let me know.

My sympathies to you Kara

Kara,
I am really sorry about your other friend Chase. I am glad that you can see the good in his death and that he is now doing missionary work on the other side. We had some good friends of our family years ago that had a son that got hit by a car when he was coming home from a church function. He was 12 and had such a great spirit about him and I know that he was needed to help teach those on the other side. I also know that Tori was spared for other reasons, and I think that she will help many out there to see what miracles can happen if you have love, support and faith from your family, friends and perfect strangers that want to help. I think that Tori and her family can be an inspiration to other families that have similiar things happen to them and are struggling with the faith to get through. I thank you for your comment and I am glad that Tori has such great friends. Hang in there and enjoy high school. It goes by too fast.
