There is hope.

I too was in a motorcycle accident just east of Strawberry Resavoir on 28 June 2005. I hit a 4 point bull elk on my way to work at the Provo post office. My family was told that if I ever came out of the coma I was in I would be in a wheel chair the rest of my life. My skull had many fractures. And my brain had been through a lot. I still have quite a memory loss. I have had to relearn how to walk, relearn how to talk and basically relearn how to do many things. My Doctor that has helped me the most is Dr. Todd Cook in Provo.
My biggest frustration has been people try to tell me, you can't do that. How do they or even I know, if I don't try.
I know that Tori was in the water for 20 minutes. I did not have that happen to me. But for her to still be here means she is a fighter and she still has a mission here.
Hang in there Tori. I learned, if there is something I want to do, I have to find a different way to do it.

I agree

I just want to say that it wasn't time for tori or kscottd to go. Tori and kscott are fighters. I was 4 years old and had encephalitis and basically had zero percent on living through it but i did and god chose that it wasn't my time to go. I firmly believe that for Tori too and I'm sure you do too but I had to say it cause I almost died myself. anyways please tell tori that I will keep praying for her to get well and keep on fighting. everyone loves you like crazy Tori.

Re: There is hope.

Thanks Scott. I haven't heard of Todd Cook before but I will be sure to contact him as we need to find a local doctor. It sounds like you have also overcome great odds and are still going strong. We wish you the very best and continued recovery in your journey!!

I think each and every day about your comment on Tori still being here. In reality, Tori died three times on June 19, 2005 but she is still here with us today. There must a reason for that.

Sincerely,

-Tim
