Great Visit!

Back from a really challenging week, it was with great anticipation and anxiety that I went to visit Tori this evening.

When we got there, Marilyn, Kenzie and Maddie were entertaining Tori. We didn’t want to interrupt them so we waited outside her room for a while.

They appeared to really enjoy their time with her and so did she. Even with a bad headache and being terribly tired, it was cool to see them interact with Tori. Kara and Kenzie could not stop telling stories to Tori.

Just like for Kara and Kenzie, tonight was the greatest time I had with Tori in a long time. It had been at least 2 weeks since I actually saw her awake. Seeing her great big eyes opened and staring at you his awesome. If only she could talk now and let Tim and Maria know how she feels.

Tim, Maria, Sophie and I had dinner together (kind of). Sophie brought 2 roasted chickens that the 4 of us managed to basically finish of. Tori had a bath tonight.

Today was Tori’s cousin birthday, Todd an all his family came to visit Tori and celebrate his birthday with Tim and Maria. That was very thoughtful. It was nice to see them as well.

yeah Mare! I do have to say, this was the best visit in a long time. It makes me want to go see her again tomorrow, which we might actually do. Tori's eyes were so wide open today! I loved watching her look around and focus on things! Her eyes are so beautiful..a great feature on this website haha (at the top next to PRAY4TORI.com.) I loved watching her look at Mckenzie and Tim. There was a connection with her and her Dad. A quote from Dumb and Dumber, "Tracter beam rrrr sucked me right in." Haha I love that one, but that is literally how I felt when I watched her calmly look into her father's eyes. I could just see the love that she has for him. Thanks Tim and Maria for all that you give Tori! I love you Tori! Be strong!
