Thank you Mary Jimenez and your 3rd grade class!!

I wanted to share with everyone the contents of a package to Tori we received a short while back. It contained 20, 3rd grader hand made Christmas cards to Tori and a letter which I've included below. Thank you all so much for this 'special package' as it truly did cheer all of us up including Tori!! Thank you as well to whomever was driving around San Diego around Thanksgiving time with "Pray4Tori" painted on their windows. It continues to amaze me how many lives Tori has touched.

Dear Miss Tori Schmanski,

Hi! My name is Mary Jimenez and I am a teacher in Temecula, California (just north of San Diego). Over Thanksgiving, as I was driving around town, I saw two cars, one after another, with "Pray4Tori.com" written on their windows. Intrigued, I went to your website and was engrossed by your story and father's updates.

Upon returning to school I shared your story with my third grade class and they decided to do an "Operation Smile" whereby they write letters to a person hoping to cheer them up. So! I now send you their letters. I actually had hoped to present them to you in person while on a trip with my daughter to Utah; however, I was in Salt Lake City and did not have a car to drive to where you are. Although they are late in getting to you I hope your parents or grandparents will be able to read them to you. The boys and girls were VERY touched by your story and send their prayers and love.

In addition, my daughter, whom is a 10 year old competitive gymnast, is sending you her very first Level 9 medal that she won while in Utah. She is dedicating it to you. We will be thinking of you this whole season while competing and praying that one day you will compete again in dance. Every day of life is a competition in fact, and you are a winner just by being alive!

We continue to think and pray for you. As soon as I get my DSL I will sign up as a guest on your website.

Lovingly,
Mary Jimenez

another teen hurt

This is so amazing to me how Tori touches so many lives all over the country. I wish your 3rd grade class could know Tori like I do. She is such an amazing talented girl with so much spunk! I always loved it when Tori would come to my home and hang out with my daughter Mckenzie. Thank you so much for caring about our friend. We all love her very much.
I was just told of another girl who lives just a few blocks from Tori who was in an accident last night. Her name is Chelsea Jensen and she was thrown from the car she was in while she was with some friends. She is in the hospital right now with 2 fractures in her head and bleeding. Please pray for Chelsea also. She is a dancer too and her mom has helped with several fund raisers for Tori. Life changes so fast. I would like to tell you new teenage drivers to please be careful and don't goof off behind the wheel. Very serious things happen that change lives forever! Drive safe please.
I am always thankful to those who help Tori.
