Guy and Sophie Lunardi

Maria and I are often asked about Guy and Sophie and why we are such great friends. So we wanted to provide just one simple example of why they are part of our family and why we love them as such.

Guy, Sophie and July (Guy's sister) were in San Francisco Thursday evening when I called them and informed them of Tori's dire condition at the time. Though they were not supposed to return to SLC until Sunday, they quickly called for any immediate flights but unfortunately there were none until late Friday afternoon. This information did not deter them at all and they proceeded to DRIVE their rental car 14 hours to SLC to be with Tori and our family as fast as possible. That is exactly why we dearly love them and always will.

Thank you Guy and Sophie for all of your love and support and we are very thankful for everything you have done for our family. I believe almost anyone exploring this site can sense the type of caring, loving and awesome people they truly are!!

Great Friends

Guy and Sophie are the true meaning of great friends!! While talking with Tim Friday night he told me Guy & Sophie drove from CA to be with them. I told him what wonderful people they are. I can't wait to meet these two and tell them thank you!! I also have a story to share about great friends. I have them as well. I live in MN and have shared Tori's story with them via email. Most of them have visted the site and are amazed at what they have read. My husband and I joined this group of people for an "Adult weekend" get-a-way. The theme of the party was Mardi Gras, everyone received 12 necklaces when they arrived. If you didn't follow the rules correctly and were caught, you had to give up one of your necklaces. One way to get more necklaces was to donate to the Pray4Tori fund, buy a bracelet, then you received two necklaces to add to your collection!! The most necklaces collected throughout the weekend would win you a prize. My friend, Gina, who has never met Tori, also had Tori's story and picture displayed. Needless to say, Gina was able to sell most of my bracelets for me. They all asked me to keep them posted on Tori's condition, which I will do. So in closing, Tim & Maria even here in MN "our" friends are showing their support as well. I'm praying for a good week for Tori. Love, Janine

Awesome friends

I just read how Guy and Sophie and July drove home to be with you. I am sitting here crying at this amazing love they have for you and Maria and the kids. I am so lucky to have been able to get to know these amazing people, and see their love for you first hand!
