Thursday, August 11th - Day 53 Update

Hello everyone,

It is extremely difficult for me to give Tori's update tonight and to be perfectly honest I debated heavily whether to provide it or not. Maria and I finally decided that all of you have the right to know of Tori's current condition.

I am so deeply saddened to report that Tori has been moved back into the PICU with a bacteria that has caused a Septic Shock condition and she is once again desperately fighting for her life. She will need all of your prayers and thoughts tonight.

I love Tori with all of my heart and have been praying for her all the time. It is so great that she has such incredible parents. I will be saying even more prayers for her and I know that tori is such a strong fighter! I love you Tori!

I just read about this new infection and I want to jump in my car and be there with you guys! My heart is breaking for you! Please fight hard Tori, we need you! I love the Schmanski Family with all my heart!

keep fighting

I had the privilege of helping care for Tori the last two days at PCMC and felt compelled to visit her site. My prayers are with Tori and her family at this difficult time. She has made a huge impact in my life and I know she'll keep fighting. Stay strong kiddo!

I know none of us who come

I know none of us who come and check on Tori on this site will ever know how you Tim, Maria, Whitney, Brendan, and other close family members are feeling as Tori continues to combat one trial after another. Tori Has Fought through So Many Trials!

Tori has fought through so much. Tori is truely one of the worlds Greatest Fighters. I hope deeply that she will get through this trial like all the others that have came upon her the past 53+ Days. Tim and Maria you are also very great parents that will "Never Give Up One of your Own". I know how serious this Septic Shock is.. it is very dangerous, I hope that Tori will be able to recover in the days ahead. I am glad that Tori has support from everyone here and family that is in Utah and Elsewhere.
