Saturday and Sunday,October 14th and 15th

Hello,

Tori finished up the week with another good weekend. She didn't sleep solidly though either Friday or Saturday nights. She wasn't really upset or in any pain she merely wanted someone in the room with her. Tori will moan quite loudly when she wants you and she had me running back and forth from my room to hers. I would comfort her and watch some TV with her until she fell asleep again. Then after another couple of hours she would call for me again. I still prefer her sleeping throughout the night but I can't complain too much because I have seen far worse nights...

Tori sampled peach dessert, chocolate pudding, various popsicle flavors and finally some roasted marshmallows this weekend. They are still very small samplings but at least she isn't afraid to try anything. Tori was also able to spend some more time on the deck in her wheelchair and there is definitely snow on the mountains so that practice may be ending here shortly.

Another week starts tomorrow and thankfully Maria and Whitney will be coming home as well. Guy is also going to tag along and spend a few days in Utah and that should be fun.

Hello,
My name is Mari Williamson. I live in Mapleton, Ut. One of my neighbors named Jessica Krehbiel was in an accident on August 23rd. She was driving down the highway in Mapleton and swerved to miss a car but over corrected herself and ran into an oncoming car. She flew out the passagner side window from the drivers seat. She was not wearing a seat belt. She has been in a coma ever since. All they know is that she has brain shear, but they do not know how extreme the damage is. I am telling you this because I think that it would be great if your family and the Krehbiel family talked, and helped one another through this challanging time that you are both going through. Its always nice to talk to someone that is in the same situation as you are. Jessica is a beautiful girl, she was a dancer also. Her and tori have a lot in common. Jessica is 21 years old, and is waiting for a missionary to return home. I have been very worried about Jess, and I am always thinking of some way that i can help her and her family. I would love to make some t-shirts like what tori has. Where did you get those shirts made?

Thank you for sharing this Mari. Someone this week told me about a prayforjessica sticker on a car but I hadn't been able to research it yet. I reviewed Jessica's site and our prayers will now be with her as well. Jessica and Tori both exhibit great strength and hopefully their long recoveries will continue moving forward.
