Reunion

Hi Tim, Maria, Tori, Whitney & Brendan,
Our thoughts and talks were of you all at the family reunion on Saturday and especially of Tori going home. It has to make her happy to be home and in those surroundings again.
We were so happy to have your Mom & Dad there. It's been so enjoyable having them here in Minnesota for a visit. Always a lot to catch up on. Love & prayers and most of all good health for Tori. Shirley

Nice Visit...

Paul & Sandy and All your wonderful family, we so very much enjoyed our visit with you all. Thank you all for this and all the chauffering from Paul and Sandy. Good Driver-Paul.Tim,we did make the flight. There were tvs for all to watch the super bowl. One man and his sons in the terminal were frantic about seeing the game, before they found out tvs were on the plane. All passengers must have been Seahawk fans because that is the only time any celebrating yells were made. At the end the attendent asked if there were ANY Steelers on the plane. No answer. I should have gotten on site before, but this past week has been a bit hectic. Dick went back to work on Mon. and I was with kids more than usual as Jennifer went to Philadelphia on business. It was great visiting with each and everyone of you. Brenden, you are one entertaining little guy. Grandpa's Pal and you know what else. Tori looked so good and we learned a lot about the procedures she goes through and routine. I saw her make a sound to Whitney, who she likes to watch very closely. And she has very expressive eyes which tell a lot that she knows what is going on. It seemed she was very fixed on Uncle Dick-giving him the once over quite a bit. She gave us the pinky wave when we left the last time.We saw how devoted you all are to her and showing how much you love her with all your care. It sure isn't easy but it is paying off. As you have said, she has made progress. We are so happy for that.
It was nice visiting with everyone and learning of their news and families.
Our girls and their families made me so happy last night. They had a birthday party for me at Eileen & Don's. All the food, wine, flowers and so many gifts. It sure makes up for this 'OLD'birthday.
Love and prayers to all of you and keep up the good work Tori. Shirley & Dick

The worse thing.

Tim & Maria, We know you are going through one of the worse things in life to see your child so ill. May you gain even more strength also to help her. It's difficult to read about her bad days and then it makes us happy to read of the improvements-especially with this latest infection. So we can only imagine what all your ups and downs do to you both. They know so much more about e-coli now, thank God. She has to get well-she's fighting too. Our prayers, love, and strength to you all. Aunt Shirley

Never a day

Tim, Maria and whole family,
Not a day goes by that someone in the family asks- "have you heard the latest on Tori"? One day when Dick called from 'on the road', he asked for latest news on Tori and I couldn't get on online, where I was that day, but luckily Janine told me what happened. Janelle and Jonathan have been reading the entries about her on their laptops and next week will be able to send their own message. Jonathan was on his skateboard last week and he said Tori showed him some kind of flip or manuever on it when they were here a few years ago and he remembered. She is constantly on our minds and in our hearts. If ever there was a time for her to be stubborn,(as her address says, it is now. All our prayers and love, Aunt Shirley
